By accessing or using the Aera Fitness application ("Aera", "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Aera is a fitness and nutrition tracking platform that allows users to log workouts, track nutrition, monitor body measurements, and connect with personal trainers. The App includes AI-powered meal analysis features and a web dashboard for trainers to manage their clients.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
• Upload malicious content, spam, or any material that infringes on others' rights.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or other users' experience.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App.

5. Trainer Relationships

Aera facilitates connections between users and personal trainers. When you accept a trainer invitation:

• Your trainer will have access to your workout logs, nutrition data, body measurements, and questionnaire responses.
• Your trainer may create and assign training plans, meal plans, and questionnaires for you.
• You may disconnect from a trainer at any time through the App.
• Aera is not responsible for the advice, plans, or guidance provided by trainers.

6. AI Meal Analysis Disclaimer

The App uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to analyze meal photos and text descriptions to estimate nutritional content. These estimates are approximations and should not be considered exact measurements. AI meal analysis is not a substitute for professional dietary or medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for specific dietary needs or medical conditions.

7. Health Disclaimer

Aera is a fitness and nutrition tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information provided through the App is for general informational and tracking purposes only. Always consult your physician or qualified health provider before starting any exercise program or making significant dietary changes.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by Aera Fitness and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of the data you submit to the App (workout logs, meal photos, measurements, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at aerafitnessapp@gmail.com or visiting our Account Deletion page.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aera Fitness shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes but is not limited to damages resulting from inaccurate AI meal analysis, trainer advice, data loss, or service interruptions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
